Herher Waterfall

About

A state natural monument on the Herher river, in the gorge between Karmrashen (2,059 m) and Herher village (1,677 m) in Vayk community. Strongest in spring snowmelt. Armenian Geographic runs it as a 13 km / 400 m-gain day hike that also takes in Karavaz waterfall, St. Sion monastery on its rock outcrop, and Chiqivank. Not to be confused with the Herher reservoir, 9.9 km downstream.
